The YouTube of Apple's WWDC 2021 Keynote drew 6.3 million viewers

More, including yours truly, watched on Apple TV. But how many who watched the show were working developers?

My take: One clue was that Serenity Caldwell's recaps, not made for the press, have drawn 100s of thousands each. A remaining mystery is why this year's Platforms State of the Union -- usually a big ticket for Apple developers -- barely broke 3.5 thousand.

I can see every WWDC session including the Keynote and State of the Union in the Developer app. I assume most developers would watch them there and that’s probably the reason for the low view count on YouTube.
