Apple event rumor checklist

Pulled from The Verge’s “What to expect from Apple’s iPhone 12 event,” listed in order of likelihood:

  • Four new 5G iPhones
  • MagSafe charger
  • HomePod mini
  • Over-the-ear headphones
  • AirTags
  • iPad Air release date
  • New Apple TV
  • ARM-based Mac

My take: Could there be a surprise or two? We’ll see soon enough. I’ll be watching the event (which starts at at 1:00 p.m. Eastern and could last two hours), and you can too. Click here.

Is there an associated Event Bingo Card?

I think the most interesting development would be an iPhone with NO connector ports.

They’ll prioritize iPhones, to maximize wallet-share for holiday shopping.

Disappointing that there was nothing but iPhones and mini Home Pods. However, the presentation was awesome. I loved how they changed scale during transitions. The videos of the campus were awesome. That new age music and graphic before the event was really nice. It was awesome that just as my Apple Watch counted the seconds to the top of the hour the graphic changed to the gold color that was part of the announcement. The precision was amazing. Like the trains in Japan. I was disappointed that there were no cameos by Craig Federighi, at least none that I saw.

    The new iPhones look amazing.
