Sounded like an Apple 3.0 panel. Now that’s a bit scary. Is it time to go bearish?

As to trading? I’ve been doing well these past 5 weeks, although I could have done better had I been a bit more aggressive. The thing is, being a bit more aggressive in the past has hurt me when the market went bananas. Another 2 months of success and I’ll be back where I was mid January, so I’m going to continue being conservative, buying in-the-money Call Spreads when I think AAPL has bottomed at the beginning of a new week, with a Friday expiry.

Side note: historically AAPL should have begun a swoon last week, leading to a mid-summer low this week. That swoon didn’t happen, making me wonder if the swoon will come at all, or just be a week late.

And then there’s earnings at the end of the month. AAPL is nearing its all-time high, which is where the craziness began. I’ve got a eye on that as well. Yeah, ‘tis the season to be cautious. Historically, July 12 should be the start of an extended rally, except the market’s craziness following the last two reports has me wondering if the dream will become another nightmare.

To the moderator’s rhetorical, “Who’s left to buy?”

Re AAPL: Better question is who’s left to sell? The diamonds hands bought big blocks from the weaker hands. Low volume and steady rise in the last month indicates a lack of sellers. And buybacks never stop.

Re Apple products and services: The IB in all categories keeps on growing, while Apple continues to add new products and services. Apple silicon, like a tectonic force, keeps pushing the mountain higher.
