I’ve decided to wait for the Pro Max. I just can’t resist that camera coupled with Lidar.

I enjoyed my time with the 6/8 Plus models, but the 12 Pro is the sweet spot for me. It’s a shame they couldn’t maintain feature parity between the two sizes.

Maybe in three to four years they’ll have it back when it’s time to hand of my 12 Pro to my daughter.

Gregg, Ditto on that – I have dabbled in HDR photography since 1998… groups of five shots at varying exposures. Then move onto fast Mac and batch process with an HDR program. Time consuming! With these new iPhones doing photos & video frame by frame on the fly – amazing!

Right Gregg. I went into this thinking my Xs is just fine – not anymore.

Rene and Apple make the case that the Pro is for professionals.

Next up: Technology reviewers compare the Pro models to Android models.

As in depth reviews and word of mouth from users percolate out, assuming no massive hiccups like Samsung’s Galaxy S20 autofocus problems (which still plague it to this day), we should see favorable use scenarios which will influence potential buyers.

Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” series will also highlight just what can be done with the iPhone 12 and Pro models.
