To get things rolling, two clips: First, the Apple specialist from Monnes, Crespi, Hardt setting the stage for this week’s event:

Second, Jim Cramer kicking the “Robinhood people” while they are down…

Love Cramer taking the “know nothing” crowd out back of the woodshed. They may not start a rally, or selloff, but they add undeserved fuel to both actions.

Wife got a statement from eTrade, showing the post-split stock price, but the pre-split quantity. That’s truly appalling!

We logged on to check, and it’s now correct.

I expect the premarket tail to wag the AAPL dog on Monday. I have no idea which way the tail will wag….

Pre-market and After Hours only reflects investor sentiment of the moment, in a limited (not as liquid) market. Using either to predict regular session trading is, at best, a crap shoot.

It’s Sunday night, BBC & ZDNet (not yet on CNN) just came out an hour or so ago confirming Nvidia’s purchase of ARM Holdings from Softbank for $40B.
Wonder how that news will have any influence, if any, this week with the Event coming up.

I don’t know Romeo but of the 48 Indexes and Commodities followed by Finviz’ Futures only 5 are down. Three of those are down marginally with the biggest loser being the VIX (shouldn’t that be a positive?).

The DOW is up about 350 pts (~1.3%) while the S&P is up about 50 pts (~1.5%) and the tech heavy Nasdaq is up about 200 pts (~1.9%).

Who knows, if Joseph’s gut is correct and the pre-market does wag AAPL’s tail, then today’s session could be a pleasant one.
