Elmer, like the glue — updated

I’ll be at the polls all day today. Back tomorrow.

I was the only candidate for city council in Greenfield with a jingle.

elmer glue city council

UPDATE: In a race for two seats on the council, looks like I’ll come in 2nd behind the former mayor. That’s a win.

I just finished a term on our City Council and I if I can paraphrase Simon Bolivar….”He who serves on the City Council plows the sea”. Someone has to do it though. Kudos for stepping up.

It will be interesting to see how close you get to 100% of the vote. You can claim a mandate for radical change!

Aah I see, unopposed for councilman at large doesn’t mean unopposed for a seat on the council. Congratulations on your win.
