iOS beta leaks Sept. 10 unveiling of iPhone 11

So many assumptions in that headline!

From 9to5Mac’s “iOS 13 beta asset suggests iPhone 11 Apple event on September 10th“:

apple iphone september 11 eventApple today released the latest beta of iOS 13 to developers, and in it is a piece of evidence that suggests when we might see Apple’s iPhone 11 event. An asset within the new iOS 13 beta, discovered by iHelp BR, suggests an event date of September 10th.

As you can see in the image [ex ped: I can’t], an asset within iOS 13 beta 7 shows an iOS screenshot with the date of Tuesday, September 10th. This asset is named “HoldForRelease.” This is the same date that we had predicted last month, and which follows the precedent set by Apple in years prior.

My take: If the date is correct, this is one Apple event I’ll be watching from home. I’ve got a run-off election Sept. 10. (City Council, Greenfield, MA. Five candidates, two seats.) Lawn sign below.

It’s the calendar app. Its icon says: “Tue 10”.

If I was to be pedantic, I could point out that December and March also have Tuesday 10th s but September 10th does seem more likely.
