The Great Wall of Apple

Apple’s moat appears to be far more than figurative.

On a side note my “Upgrade program” purchase of an iPhone SX Max was rejected by Citizen’s. Why? I don’t have a credit card.

I’ve been paying for everything I own, including home, furnishings, collector cars and anything else you can think of, since 2007. I am debt free and until I applied for the Upgrade Program had intended to remain that way. Now it seems my unwillingness to take on debt, while leaving financially secure, is working against me. Oh the humanity.

Oh well, I’ll be visiting my local Apple Store to pay cash on Monday.

Given the drop off I’d say that fence is as much to stop people from falling out as much as getting in.

Yep. It’s to keep people from falling into the driveway to the underground garage.

You saw it when the parking garage was being built. That’s why there were land bridges from the parking garage’s upper levels towards Apple Park. The garage is partially recessed into the ground, which keeps the profile low. The depth isn’t as apparent from the drone’s perspective.
