CNBC peppers Apple analyst with dumb questions (video)

When will Apple hit $1 trillion? What’s the hot next thing? What if they buy Time Warner? CBS/Viacom? Disney?

R.W. Baird’s Will Power suffered fools for four and a half minutes on CNBC’s Squawk Box Tuesday.

Cue the video:

Apple will continue to grow at ‘healthy clip’: Analyst from CNBC.

My take: Still, it’s good to put a face with a price target. Will Power’s is $200.

    verb [no object]
(of a bird) make a loud, harsh noise: the geese flew upriver, squawking.
    • [with direct speech] (of a person) say something in a loud, discordant tone: “What are you doing?” she squawked.
    • complain or protest about something.

And now we know why the program is called “The Squawk Box” 🙂

Squawk boxes are the little speakers that would sit on top of a trading desk, from which the Firm’s economist would talk or other market news would get piped over.

The speaker was most definitely not a HomePod, so squawking best describes the noise it made.

I don’t know as much about these kinds of shows as others here but I must say, that host who was calling Apple “an iPhone company” is an idiot. The analyst was quite good, very clear and thinking big but the other folks there were so narrow in their thinking it was embarrassing.
