For me, the more interesting question is, why the market got this so late. The fact that things were going well up until now says worlds about how self-centered people are: profit before country.

The world might face cyber Hiroshima before too long. This will be catastrophic for “the market”. Mr Trump is conscious of the achilles heel in the world. It is cyber vulnerability. Pacifying other rising global powers is needed. Trump is not the problem, He is trying to deal with cyber terror. He came to power by simple dangerous propaganda, but the serious issue is not that, it is in fact that we are now away from nuclear balance of terror to cyber vulnerability. AAPL will be a minute detail …The market feels the threat but can not vocal it. No one wants to!

Most tech stocks have already recovered about 1/2 of yesterday’s glitch.
This event serves as a reminder that AAPL is a great tech stock. I’m a broken record on this – at current valuations, buybacks and dividends which increase at 10% annually, make AAPL a long-term hold. Apple can withstand some shocks. Other tech stock would have to drop considerably, before buyback kick in.
More importantly, Apple’s long term growth potential is not priced in.

As much as jealous nellies would like it all to collapse and bankrupt everyone’s pensions provider, it won’t happen. The global fundamentals are OK for a sustained run for at least 3 to 5 years, after the much longer period of trauma post 2008. Of course individual events will create short term ups and downs but nothing to take AAPL off its long term growth trajectory. See it all before and wiser for it!
